Racing Tips: 30th March

Midweek selections from the PlayUp form analyst.

Sandown Hillside R4 #8 My Whisper $1.65 at PlayUp – It has won two from two this prep so far, and with all honesty I cannot see the winning streak ending today. The first up win at Kilmore was very strong on the clock, and she backed it up with a super impressive win here over 1400m last start. Third up here, and has climbed to BM70 grade, but sticks against her own sex and the booking of J Kah again should see her saluting. As per, with her racing style, the wide draw is suitable and she should be swooping late.

Sandown Hillside R5 #3 Detonator Jack $2.10 at PlayUp – Super impressive debut win from this Maher/Eustace galloper, and he looks primed to go on with the job here. It was a dominant 1400m kill on debut, with the visually impressive 3L margin also backed up on the clock. He had to come from rearwards off a slow tempo, and ran his last 400m 7L quicker than benchmark grade average. Out to a mile now second up looks very suitable, as he is bred for this distance range. J Allen is a strong booking here, and the wide draw is suitable for his get back racing pattern.

Canterbury R2 #6 The Art Of Flying $1.95 at PlayUp – This horse has been racing in super form, and has managed to sneak under the guard of a few as well, including myself. He comes off a first up third in the Inglis Sprint at Flemington behind Overpass, which is an extremely strong form line. He was beaten under 1L at Sale on a soft 7, and was beaten 1L on debut behind Sneaky Five in a Listed Inglis race also on a soft 7. Clearly handles wet, and is just undoubtedly a good horse. Returns to Sydney, and the booking of J McDonald is crucial.
