Racing Tips 13th November

MAJOR racing from Cranbourne and Newcastle this Saturday punters, with high quality fields set to go around on some rain affected going.
Check out the PlayUp form analyst best bets below.

Cranbourne:

R3 #11 Xtra Gear $8.50 at PlayUp
Way over the odds here for the Laming galloper, who had clear excuses off a poor effort at Flemington last time. Didn’t; handle the straight track, and likely found the surface too firm as well. Wet track form is very strong, including a good maiden win at Geelong on a soft 6, and only carries 51kg after the claim here. A huge weight advantage over the favourite, worth an each way ticket.
R4 #10 Mister Me $7.50 at PlayUp
This horse was good last start at Pakenham on wet going, finishing only 0.3L off the winner over the 1400m. Prior to that was just outclassed in a Listed race at Caulfield, but comes into this fourth up and ready to win again. Stats show best form on wet ground, and has drawn very kindly with only 55kg on the back.
R5 #2 Belle Plaisir $5.50 at PlayUp
This horse has been only fair since making the move across the ditch to join the McEvoy camp, but i’m confident she grows a leg in the wet. No match in a G3 at Flemington last start, but did keep fighting through the line and will find this a whole lot easier. She is unbeaten 2 from 2 on heavy going back in NZ, and comes into this third up fitter and ready to peak. Must be a huge chance.
Newcastle:

R2 #10 Sacred Command $3.40 at PlayUp
Very keen on this lightly weighted chance on the heavy track, who wasn’t far off Green Flash last start over the 1550m. His wet form is superior to most runners in the field, including a 2nd place on a heavy deck back in NZ before making the move to Australia. Form behind Shibli so far this prep reads very well, and with only 53.5kg under T Berry must be a winning chance.
R8 #1 Lost And Running $3.00 at PlayUp
This horse ran fourth in the Everest only two starts ago, before just being no match for a speedy Eduardo last time out at Rosehill. For obvious reasons, those two form lines are exceptional for a race of this quality, and even with the wide draw here I’m confident this horse will be winning. Although maybe an afterthought race, he is rock hard fit, and undefeated from one start on heavy going. Sits wide, finds better ground out there, and just wins plain and simple.
