Greyhound Tips 26th November 2020

Racing across the country tonight sees some excellent fields assembled, no doubt the highlights will be the running of the two semi-finals of the Group 3 Brian Johnstone at Angle Park, whilst at Albion Park the final of listed Dave Brett Memorial, for maidens, will be run. In the semi-finals at Angle Park, in heat one we will see Fly For Trix aiming for 6 straight and should manage without too many issues, whilst in the second heat Love And Thunder does look well drawn in box 8. In the Dave Brett Memorial, named in honour of an absolute star of the sport in Queensland, the Robert Cooke trained son of Raw Ability in Cash View, does look a special from the inside draw after his fastest heat win. Tomorrow will have a preview of the Melbourne Cup to be run at Sandown Park, where $450,000 awaits the winning connections, and a win to Simon Told Helen will see him become the 8th greyhound in Australian history to exceed $1,000,000 in stake-money won. But firstly we need to see if we can find some winners for the punters tonight.

Warrnambool Race 8 No 1 Stardom $1.70 at PlayUp – Massive drop in class from his last start when unplaced behind Hard Style Rico in a heat of the Melbourne Cup when we’ll fancied in the market. Should be able to pounce on the lead early in this lead and that will be the race. Yes. Selections: 1-3-7-2.

Dapto Race 6 No 2 Nangar Lily $5.00 at PlayUp – Impressive all the way winner last start at Nowra when not fancied in the market after a disappointing run here three nights early. Willing to give another in this. Draw to find the lead and once in front will take some beating. Selections: 2-5-8-7.

Dapto Race 9 No 5 Cumbria Jim $3.90 at PlayUp – Looks very well placed in this. Been a model of consistency of late at Wentworth Park with a string of minor placings, all coming from back in the field and making ground late. Small field here will suit his pattern of racing. Selections: 5-2-8-4.

Albion Park Race 11 No 2 Ninetymile King $2.45 at PlayUp – Very nice run here last week when a fast finishing second after having no luck early from his wide draw. Drawn closer to the rail tonight which will enable him to position himself much closer to the lead in the first half of the race. His great strength will tell late. Selections: 2-3-7-6.

Angle Park Race 11 No 9 Runaway Lad $2.50 at PlayUp – Ex Victorian making his SA debut for the powerful Nathan Wilson kennels. The winner of just one race from his 8 starts may not look startling form however he has run a number of nice placings at the Melbourne city tracks behind some nice dogs. This does look much easier. Can lead all the way from this favourable draw. Selections: 8-1-4-2.
