AEECEE EXPRESS $2.30 with PlayUpStarting the day with the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott debutant AEECEE EXPRESS who is a son of champion stallion Savabeel out of a Thorn Park mare who is a half sister to Savvy Oak.
Although this colt is bred to get a mile & beyond, he is quiet the athletic type, who I feel will be able to be competitive at the sprinting trip off his type & what I’ve seen at the trials, especially the way he dropped the field at the turn in his most recent blow out.
He looks to have class, they’ve come for him early in betting & I think he could have some ability, so all things going well, should be hard to beat.

Ten 2YOs will debut here in this field of 12 and I don’t mind 2 of them who have impressed in jump outs.
I’ve got the Mitchell Freedman trained SAFE SECRET on top after running a nice 2nd in a Camperdown J/O back in January.
He has since gone around in a Stawell J/O against the older horses and looked impressive. Formlines tie in strong for a maiden of this quality and any market support a good guide.
Saving on the Danny O’Brien I AM INVINCIBLE filly I AM IN THE MOOD who moved well in a trial and Craig Williams stays on.
Bred from a good farm at Widden and her dam was a smart horse who is a half sister to another smart dam in BONNIE MAC (Exceedance). Win won’t shock at a price.

3YO fillies race over the 1300m in BM64 grade and I’m keen to stick with the debut winner MORE SECRETS who won impressively at Pakenham a fortnight ago when ridden out hands and heels by Craig Williams.
There’s since been winners from that race, so the formlines stack up and this looks a great stepping stone for the Hawkes trained filly.
Saving on the toppy here SENSATIONALISATION who resumes and should get a lovely run here today in transit from the inside draw.
She was a good 1st-up winner last prep and backed that up running 2nd behind some pretty handy horses, so if she’s improved, then she’s clearly the horse to beat.

Handy 4YO gelding HIGHMASTER has changed hands from John Thompson to Rockhampton trainer Jared Wehlow and should be rockhard fit following 2 very good runs this prep, finishing 3rd and 2nd respectively in metro Sydney.
Heads north and finds a very winnable mile race and will have gun hoop Ryan Moloney aboard. Looks very hard to beat. I rate him a $1.50 chance here so lock in the price.
