As predicted, racing on Thursday was of the highest standard especially at Albion Park in Queensland and at Sandown Park in Victoria. And thankfully for our followers our selections should have resulted in a nice profit as we selected four winners and four placings from our eight selections. Let us hope this form can continue tonight, a night packed full of greyhound racing with meetings at Ballarat, The Meadows, Wentworth Park, Dubbo, The Gardens, Ipswich and Cannington.
Wentworth Park Race 1 No 8 Lektra Lad $2.30 at PlayUp – Does his best racing at this track, having won a Group 2 event earlier in the year. Has not enjoyed a lot of luck in recent starts. This field lacks depth. Well drawn. Expect big improvement tonight.
Wentworth Park Race 3 No 6 Doonan $3.90 at PlayUp – Real track specialist, having already won 8 races at the venue. Looks very well graded in this field. Best bet of the night so make him your banker in all your multi bets.
The Meadows Race 3 No 3 $2.90 at PlayUp – Clearly the best dog in the race. Has been racing with very little luck of late and will appreciate the drop in class tonight. Should find the early lead and set up a winning break down the back. Yes.
Wentworth Park Race 6 No 2 Return Mac $3.40 at PlayUp – Overdue for a win. Should find the lead before the first turn. Better drawn tonight near the rails. Promising dog who is getting stronger. Each way all day.
The Meadows Race 6 No 2 Rohan Bale $2.00 at PlayUp – Very gifted chaser who has a big win in him. Performs well at this track and does like an inside draw. Should be too classy for this field tonight.
The Meadows Race 9 No 2 Plagiarise $2.30 at PlayUp – She has been crying out for an inside draw. Had no luck in recent times from wide boxes. This is her race. Can carve out fast times when on the lure.
