Greyhound Tips: 3rd June

Outstanding greyhound racing continues tonight across the country with the highlight being the final of the Graeme Hull Memorial Cup at Wagga Wagga, a Group 3 event that will see a quality field face the starter, after qualifying via the heats last Friday night. Two Victorian kennels, the Grenfell and Gibbons kennels, have seven of the eight finalist, with the only sole New South Wales representative being the Brian Smith trained My Boy Rockin’ (3). Trying to find the winner is a very difficult task but we really fancy Titan Blazer (6) on an each way basis. He is a very consistent dog who likes to race off the track, so the box is not an issue at all. Main dangers would appear to be the evergreen chaser Yozo Bale (7) and the promising sprinter Kelsey Bale (4) despite her poor draw.

Meanwhile down in Victoria, the rich Pink Diamond series will continue tonight at both Bendigo and Geelong with heats of the Maiden Sprinter, Maiden Short Course, Challenger Sprinter and Challenger Short Course at both track. Further heats of these two events have been conducted at Warragul and Shepparton, whilst heats of the Champion Short Course, Champion Sprinter, Champion Distance, Rookie Short Course and Rookie Sprinter will be held next week at the same four tracks. The Pink Diamond Series will culminate at Ballarat on Friday 17 June when twelve finals will be conducted, with massive stake money on offer for winning connections and breeders. Tomorrow night at The Gardens, six heats of the richest staying race in the word, the 715, will be conducted, with the winner of next weeks final taking home $500,000. Tomorrow we will have a full preview and selections for all six heats. Before then, let us see if we can continue our recent run of hot form by finding our followers a few winners across the board tonight.

Traralgon Race 4 No 1 Indiana Phones $3.40 at PlayUp – Been racing in career best form of late, winning three of his last four starts. Never drawn the red box before but we believe it will suit ideally and allow him to push through and lead all the way.

Geelong Race 5 No 1 Snowy’s Sister $2.20 at PlayUp – Loves racing at this venue and loves an inside draw. This is a significant drop in class tonight, as compared to her recent starts, so she will appreciate that. Look for her to lead throughout and get the cash.

Richmond Race 6 No 8 Gatlin $2.30 at PlayUp – Member of the very strong Finn kennel who looks ideally placed in this field and from this draw. Back to back wins at Bathurst in March showed that he has a big motor. This field lacks depth so looks a very winnable race for Gatlin.

Richmond Race 7 No 8 Return Mac $2.20 at PlayUp – A new addition to the Finn kennel who has excellent form of late at Dubbo in strong fields. New to this track but the big track will suit. Scouts wide in his races so will also be suited by the wide draw. Looks the best bet of the night for us, so make him your banker in all your multi bets.

Richmond Race 9 No 8 Remembrance $3.50 at PlayUp – Ran on nicely last start at this track and distance, after being shuffled back early. Will be much better suited from this wide draw tonight and should be able to cross them early and then race away down the back for a comfortable win.
