Live from 9am everyday – let’s take a look at what’s on deck today;
NBA – San Antonio Spurs v Charlotte Hornets
Charlotte head to San Antonio feeling the effects of a tough stretch without key personnel due to Health & Safety protocols.
While they get the majority of those back they will need time to be conditioned and a matchup against a resurgent Spurs’ team isn’t ideal.
San Antonio owns some notable matchup advantages here at both ends of the floor and with LaMelo Ball still out the Hornets offence should be a little too one-dimensional. This number seems shy of where I’d have it so I’d be looking to lay the points on the home team.
Our best bet: San Antonio Spurs -3.5 $1.93 at PlayUp
Horse Racing – Hawkesbury
Was very impressive on debut at Warwick Farm over 1200m flashing home for 3rd off a slow tempo.
Gets out now to 1400m in a far easier maiden against horses that have had countless chances to break their duck.
Can see Tom Sherry snagging it back to the rear of the field from the wide barrier, and coming over the top late. GET ON!
Our best bet: Hawkesbury Race 4, no. 5 – Roma Avenue $3.10 at PlayUp
Market mover – Horse Racing, Kyneton
Vosmaeri $5.50 –> $2.80
The biggest go of the day is for this Archie Alexander-trained mare in the first race at Kyneton.
Finally stepping up to a suitable distance of the 1874m, a little sting out of the track looks to suit, the $5.50 was snapped up as soon as the market opened and now into $2.80 quote.
At her last start Vosmaeri looked to have plenty to offer before some severe interference at the 450m mark. She recovered to still hit the line very well that day and Cox Plate-winning jockey John Allen is happy to keep the ride on this lightly raced 5yo.
Our best bet: Kyneton Race 1, no. 9 – Vosmaeri $2.80 at PlayUp
