Comes here on debut from a very astute stable in a powerful ownership group, a well bred filly by Extreme Choice. Her latest jump out at Flemington was very good, finishing second in that heat. The time recorded was one of the fastest of the morning, only bested in time by Sinawann who has since won at Caulfield last Saturday. Drawn very well, and gets a big booking of D Oliver for its first start.

Not beaten far in a quality race at Sandown, this horse can bounce back into the winners stall now. Two runs back at Mornington she was very unlucky not to win when getting held up badly until the last 100m of the race. Last 400m and 200m sectionals rated very highly in the meeting still. D Oliver sticks aboard which is a great sign, and the wider draw looks a positive as the horse can float back and get clear air wider late.

Very keen on this last start winner to make it back to back victories. She dominated a maiden field at Hamilton last start, running her last 400m four lengths quicker than standard time. She was eased down over the line to win by 2L hard held, and from a very soft draw here with only 55.5kg, i’m confident she can win again. Looks a very smart horse who is capable of progressing to city level.

Very keen on this Newnham runner at a price on debut here, a gelding who has trialled very well leading into this. The latest trial here at Warwick Farm on the synthetic, he officially finished last of 6 but was terribly held up in behind them. He got clear past the post, and within 100m he was in front of the entire field. He was badly held up two trials back as well, but finished off extremely impressively through the line late once clear. Gets a 2kg claim from T Sherry, drawn well, and looks huge overs for this race.

Very interested to be having something on Hollywood Gossip, who has been running very well this prep. A win and two minor places from four runs so far, including a very close 2nd at Canterbury last start. Gets a big drop in grade here to the BM64 level against her own sex, and the booking of J McDonald is a massive push. He is a rider that does not often ride for this stable, so to have him booked on to ride is a sign. Drawn a touch awkward, but nothing that J Mac cannot overcome.
