NBA Tips: 6th April

With the NBA Playoffs inching ever closer, the Eastern Conference in particular is keeping fans on their toes. With 6 teams earning an automatic berth and the 7th and 8th placed teams entering the Play In rounds there’s still plenty to play for those who have a chance of making it.

After the one-day break, the NBA returns on the 6th of April with a juicy 12 games. Tre Young and the Atlanta Hawks are traveling north to face the Toronto Raptors, meanwhile the Chicago Bulls get their last chance to secure a win against last year’s champions the Milwaukee Bucks. And Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets are playing host to Houston to fight for the last available playoff spot.

Today’s NBA Bets Explained

Milwaukee Bucks to win H2H – $1.52 at PlayUp

The Chicago Bulls are the only team in the NBA which still hasn’t managed to secure a win against one of the top teams in the league – their record is 0 from 16 against top-placed contenders. While they enjoyed some time this season at the number 1 spot themselves, the Bulls are now facing the threat of the Play In rounds. The Milwaukee Bucks on the other hand are in the midst of another great season, winning 12 of their last 17 games. These two teams also played each other two weeks ago when the Bucks blew out the Bulls by 28 points in Milwaukee.

The Bucks still have a chance to improve on their #3 position in the East and after losing their last two games at home they’ll be looking to respond in a big way.

Toronto Raptors to win H2H – $1.55 at PlayUp

The Toronto Raptors are one of the most exciting teams to follow as the NBA approaches the end of the regular season. The Raptors have spent most of the season bouncing in and out of the Play In rounds but they’ve been putting on a show since the All Star break. Pascal Siakam, Fred van Vleet and Garry Trent Jr. are driving the team and just a week before the end of the regular season the Raptors are fighting for the 5th seed in the East. Tre Young and the Atlanta Hawks are also on a good run and aiming to secure that last Play In spot but at home where they’ve claimed 4 of their last 5 wins, the Raptors are hard to ignore.

The Raptors have won 11 out of their last 14 games and they’ve also won 2 of their last 3 games against the Hawks which means that we think there’s another win on the cards for the North.

Brooklyn Nets to win H2H – $1.04 at PlayUp

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are both healthy and they’ve been playing as if they were still in their early 20s. KD has been putting up an MVP performance since he returned from injury and it’s not rare to see him drop 40+ points on an average night (he got 55 on Sunday). Even when he doesn’t, Irving can step up and deliver just like he did the other week against the Orlando Magic when he finished the game with 60 points. The Houston Rockets are not likely to stand a chance against the Nets as the Rockets have one of the lowest records in the league.

At home against Houston, and just one win away from the Play In round, the Nets still have a chance to reach the Playoffs and we’re picking the Nets to get over 110 points for the 15th game in a row and a high scoring game overall led by KD or Kyrie.
