NBA Tips: 3rd-4th May

The second round of the NBA Playoffs has begun and it’s fair to say that it was on a different than the first round. The Bucks made easy work of the Celtics, while the Warroirs clinched a 1 point win from the jaws of the Grizzlies. Heading into the next round of matches we’re expecting both these teams to continue their winning form as well as a high-scoring affair when the Suns meet the Mavs.

Today’s NBA Bets Explained

Milwaukee Bucks to win H2H in Game 2 – $2.50 at PlayUp

The Bucks showed up in a big Game 1 at TD Garden and have certainly shown that they want to defend their title. Game 1 was extremely physical, plenty of personal fouls, lots of forced turnovers and even some injuries.

The Bucks controlled the pace of the game and their strong defensive efforts paid off as they made Jason Tatum and Jayleen Brown’s lives difficult on the court. Giannis, on the other hand, had another Playoffs triple double and with help from the likes of Jrue Holiday (25 points, 9 rebounds) and Bobby Portis (15 points, 11 rebounds) the game was never really in doubt.

We expect the a repeat affair and the Bucks to get the W in Game 2, heading back to Milwaukee with a 2-0 lead in the series.

Warriors to win H2H – $1.75 at PlayUp

It almost feels like we’re back in 2015. The Golden State Warriors are in the Playoffs and you might be forgiven for thinking that they’re even stronger than they were 7 years ago.

Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are making smarter and faster plays than ever before. Draymond Green has the same physicality and the Warriors’ young guys like Jordan Poole can consistently put up 30+ points.

There’s no doubt that Ja Morant and the Grizzlies made the Warriors’ lives difficult at Fedex Forum but we reckon the Warriors will take Game 2, in a high scoring affair, where the offense dictates the pace of the game.

Mavericks at Suns: Total Points Over 215.5  – $1.93 at PlayUp

Luka Doncic and Devin Booker are both back, healthy and ready to go. Fans can expect a lot of 3 point plays and a high scoring game not just in Game 1 or 2, but throughout the entire series. Veteran PG, Chris Paul will certainly set up plenty of opportunities in the paint for DeAndre Ayton, as well as feeding Booker and Bridges beyond the arc.

With the Suns averaging over 114 points in the regular season and the Mavs a tidy 108, we expect the intensity of the Playoffs will bump up this number for both sides and a high-scoring match will ensue.
