Live from 9am everyday – let’s take a look at what’s on deck today;
NFL – San Francisco 49ers @ Tennessee Titans
In an exciting Thursday Night Football clash we are backing the 49ers to continue their surge to the playoffs and cover the -3.0 line against the Tennessee Titans.
The 49ers have won 5 of their last 6 games and outscored their opponents by 63 points over that stretch. Quarterback Jimmy Garopollo has been solid but it has been the outstanding play of Deebo Samuel (7 TDs past 6 games) and Tight-end George Kittle (28 receptions for 425 yards in his past 3 games) that have the 49ers favoured on the road against a strong AFC opponent.
The Titans are desperate to keep their division lead over the fast-finishing Indianapolis Colts but have struggled to overcome the loss of their star Running Back Derrick Henry. Their only win in their past month has been against the horrible Jacksonville Jaguars and they are limping towards the finishing line in the first extended 17-match Season.
Back the 49ers at -3.0 $1.90 to win on the road and solidify a play-off spot in this wonderfully exciting NFL Season.
Our best bet: San Francisco 49ers -3.0 $1.87 at PlayUp
Horse racing – Wagga
This Theresa Bateup 5-year-old gelding finds a very suitable race.
Her last start she raced in a strong BM72 at Warwick Farm and was only beaten 2.13 Lengths.
Back to a BM66 at Wagga she won’t find it much easier. I have her settling midfield and she should be charging all over the top of this bunch late.
Our best bet: Wagga Race 1, no. 3 – Foxtrot Bravo $2.70 at PlayUp
Market mover
Auron $3.90 –> $2.00
The biggest go of the day did not go up a big price, with the Tony Gollan /Ryan Maloney 4-year-old gelding went up at the $3.90 quote and punters have been happy to just keep backing her all the way into favouritism.
Ran on very well in an unsuitable 1000m race at the Sunshine Coast last start, steps up to the 1200m and with the soft run from barrier 1 and should be running over them late down the straight.
Ipswich Race 3, no. 1 – Auron $2.00 at PlayUp
