WELCOME to the PlayUp Trading Room where you get insight on the days best bets, according to our traders.
Live from 9am everyday – let’s take a look at what’s on deck today;
NBA – Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls
The Magic come in off a tough OT loss in Boston and are still playing shorthanded with a couple key rotation pieces missing.
Orlando has shown themselves to be very flat offensively playing the second night of a back-to-back and a rested Chicago team should have no problem limiting the Magic’s scoring potential.
This dropped very quickly across the board from 220.5 with some strong support to the Under and I think there’s still value available on a number that should be priced closer to the 215-216 mark.
Our best bet: Under 218.5 points $1.90 at PlayUp
Horse racing – Stony Creek
This 7-year-old gelding out of the Tony Noonan yard resumed with a very nice 3rd and was strong on the line.
I normally stay away from horses with such poor winning percentages but her numbers of 38-3-11-10 indicate just how consistent she is and today she returns to a track where she is 2-2 and she literally can’t go any lower in grade.
Jason Maskiell mapping one out and one back in a muddling affair should be too strong late in notching up her 4th career win.
Our best bet: Stony Creek Race 5, no. 1 – Governor Lady $2.45 at PlayUp

Reggie’s Boy $3.20 –> $1.95
This 3-year-old out of the Amgela Davies team at Gosford resumed at Tamworth and really hit the line strongly over the 1200m.
Today she gets the extra 80m and from the kind draw (2) won’t have to get as far back in running. She has had a lot of gear changes for today’s event and the punters couldn’t step into the $3.20 opening quote quick enough.
There are some queries in the race with the 2nd and 3rd favourites being unraced 3-year-old’s – wait till closer to jump time and I am sure she will jump just in the black figures.
Muswellbrook Race 4, no. 1 – Reggie’s Boy $1.95 at PlayUp
