NBA – Sacramento Kings @ Brooklyn Nets
The new-look Kings head to Brooklyn to face a Nets team that may unveil some of its new pieces.
Seth Curry & Andre Drummond look to join the rotation, but there’s still no Ben Simmons and given the New York vaccine mandates there’s also still no Kyrie Irving for home games either.
That leaves this reeling Nets team in a really tough spot against an Alvin Gentry led team that will simply look to run the floor and push tempo.
Sacramento’s defence remains turnstile at best and this game should see both teams creating second chance opportunities on the offensive glass while creating excellent looks across the floor.
This points total was steamed up on opener but is still a couple points shy of where I would have projected the price to settle. In a fast-paced shootout I have no trust in either defence to get the stops to keep this game under the number.

Horse racing – Swan Hill
This 4-year-old out of the Mark Pegus stable with Alana Kelly in the saddle is clearly the best bet of the day.
The race replay/video watchers were the punters to find this gelding sired by Shamus Award.
First up last start at Ararat he was posted 3 wide punching the breeze the entire trip and was going backwards on the home turn, but he had the audacity to pick up the bit and monstered the line. Gains the extra 100m of today’s maiden, which after today he won’t be no more.
Our best bet: Swan Hill Race 2, no. 2 – Gold Logie $2.35 at PlayUp
Horse racing – Swan Hill
Having her debut run for the Henry Dwyer team in Ballarat and out of the champion sire Snitzel, this 3-year-old looks to have a stack of ability and clearly the most intriguing runner for the day.
One very impressive trial where she led easily and was only picked up late by the impressive Penfriend who subsequently ran third in his most recent run in a BM64.
Blinkers on for today’s race indicates she goes straight to the front and looks to kick away on entering the home straight.
Our best bet: Swan Hill Race 3, no. 8 – Marquette $3.10 at PlayUp
