Caulfield R1 #6 Golden Gorge $2.70 at PlayUp – This is a very competitive race, but what I saw on debut from this horse was great. Nothing went right, got back to last and still beat them in a canter late. Draws better today and should settle handier.
Caulfield R5 #1 Parmie $7.00 at PlayUp – Third up now after two very promising runs, last start 3rd at similar odds behind a smart one. Fittest now, drawn the inside barrier and Michael Poy takes 2kg off again. At the current odds you could still have a bet each way, take the price now!
Randwick Kensington R4 #2 Adelong (Best) $2.10 at PlayUp – Cannot see why this horse won’t win again, absolutely dominated them last start by 4L this distance. She’s a mare racing in outstanding form, this race is harder again but drops in weight and maps to get on speed very easily and be hard to run past.
Gold Coast R1 #1 Czarson $5.00 at PlayUp – This horse is resuming after running in the Blue Sapphire. He beat Exhilarates on debut, and is proven to run very well fresh. I concede the barrier and weight are concerns but on his best form he can beat these. Two lead up trials have been good.
Gold Coast R7 #14 Cellarmaid $7.50 at PlayUp – Two runs back since a freshen for Cellarmaid have been sound, before that won two on the trot very nicely in Brisbane. This 3YO filly is stepping out to 1800m for the first time, but i’m tipping it will handle the rise in distance. Down on 51kg and should be very competitive.
